A telescope is an instrument that is used to view objects that are very far from the earth, and therefore their main use is to look at objects in the skies. The Hubble telescope will always be remembered as one of the most recognized telescopes in history because of it popularity and its major contribution to science. Until very recently, it was the principal telescope orbiting the earth in terms of quality of data and images sent back to scientists, which was its most important use. Given the incredible quality data and the incredibly in depth perspective the Hubble telescope gave us it has carved out its own spot in the world of astronomy.
